Wordless Wednesday: Doxies…and Yaks?
Why do the doxies always find a place to have an adventure that’s super dangerous!
Another “end of the world” picture – at Fort Stevens.
Do your dogs chew yaks?
Just a fun post while I create some new content this week in preparation for Blog Paws! The Yak pic above is a teaser and my three dogs cannot get enough of these Yak Chews so I’m working on a review of those and some new treats on the market made with CBD or Cannabidiol, the compound found in the Cannabis plant. More on that later this week – please check back! I’ll have a full Q&A with experts at Barkworthies.
Thanks for hopping over.
We’ve never heard of Yaks. I’m sure we would love to munch on them.
I’m definitely going to get a review up as you guys would love them!
I’d never heard of Yaks, but they look low calorie and Ms. Saphera is getting quite chubby, so – much to her disgust – she is on a diet.
Oh they’re awesome! It’s essentially Yak milk and I’ll get a post up this week! Shermie is always on a diet! I get it.
I see this and I make a cringing face, hoping one of the doesn’t/didn’t poke themselves in the eye with all those pesky branches. I’m sure they were a-ok though. 🙂
I know right! There were like 3000 tiny sticks everywhere so I gave up following them and hoped for the best!
The Lapdogs haven’t had any of their Yak chews in a long time… in part due to Tut not really supposed to have them. But Zeus & Lola used to LOVE them!
For some reason our dogs can digest these bones better than anything else — I was skeptical but haven’t ever looked back. Hope you’re well!
My dog used to eat Yaks and loved them, but I haven’t bought them in a long time. Thanks for the reminder. I’ll be interested in reading more about the CBD treats.
My dogs cannot get enough of these – and we swapped them in for Bullie a few years ago! Stay tuned on the CBD review as I’m asking the company making these treats a lot of questions.
Those are some satisfied chewers! And after that hike, I’ll bet they deserve it!
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
yea – that big doxie needs something to chew on all the time!
Looks like some good adventuring, followed by some good nomming.
Exactly- and now my favorite word is nomming!! Love this.
A well deserved treat!
Yaks are a good time!
We haven’t tried Yaks but it looks like your gang approves. I’m excited to see you in Phoenix!
I think your guys would love them – they are literally made from Yak milk and easily digested – I’ll get that review up this week but we use these in place of bones…. I cannot wait to meet you in person, are you bringing both dogs?
This is something new to me – gonna have to check it out!
I’m reviewing these Yaks so I’ll get a post up this week for sure.
I haven’t tried these, but I’m curious now. I might have to pick some up for Haley to try.
I’m a big fan – they haven’t had digestive issues and they don’t fracture teeth but I’ll review them and then let me know if you have questions about any of the ingredients or manufacturing processes.
Ruby hasn’t tried Yak Chews, but would be curious to learn more. We will have to meet up at BlogPaws!
Ruby would love them!! I cannot wait to meet you at Blog Paws and so glad you’re going. For sure!!
